Facebook Home in Talks for iPhone

Facebook Home may come to the iPhone as Facebook is in talks with Apple about creating a version of Home with Apple in a word from Bloomberg.  Android gained exclusive access to Facebook Home earlier this month, displaying photos on the lock screen and introducing Chat Heads with a new chat experience.

There is no word that talks have at all been finalized, or that any plans are in place.  It’s more of a conversation between the two parties and it will be interesting to see what pans out.
Facebook Home would be harder to release on iOS due to Apple’s restrictions with their software right now, so it will take Apple’s help to get Facebook Home to iPhone for consumers.
“It may or may not be Home,” he said. “We could also just bring some of the design values to the iOS app. That might be how it ends up. Or we could build just the lock screen. Maybe then it’s not called Home, it’s called something else.”
Facebook has also been looking into Microsoft as well for Facebook Home to add to the mix.  Apple and Microsoft reps refused to comment on the situation so far.
