The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 off-roader has been confirmed for production at a price tag of about R4.9 million.
It starts with a current-series G-Class chassis and an AMG V8 biturbo engine that delivers 400kW and 760Nm, mated to a Speedshift Plus 7G-tronic auto box with paddle-shift.
0 - 100km/h takes less than 6 seconds and the top speed is limited to 160km/h, flat out.
Fuel consumption is no good news at 18L/100km. One liter of petrol will be consumed every 5.55km.
